The indigenous peoples are the real authors of the book that you have in your hands. They are the actors of this unfair story in which they continue to be repressed by their countries of origin and by national and international companies with robbery, humiliation, cultural annihilation and death. It is impossible to give the credit and gratitude they deserve to all of them because of the complexity of their problems, the diversity of their location on the planet and because of the difficulty to contact and communicate with the world within their communities. This book is a testimony and a tribute to all those peoples: more than five thousand cultures on the verge of extinction that have contributed to maintaining a balance in the great pristine areas of our planet. We have tried to compile in this book testimonies of indigenous peoples collected over the years by me and my wife from different sources (indigenous declarations, references from speeches, articles from international treaties, conventions, etc.).
