Case studies for Mexico City, Mexico, Santiago, Chile, Sao Paulo, Brazil, Belo Horizonte, Brazil, Buenos Aires, Argentina, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and Santafe de Bogota, Colombia, illustrate how these measures have been used in the region and how they can be strengthened.
